House hunters are being invited to explore two new developments in Bolton and Bury.

The open house events, organised by Morris Homes, will take place on September 27 and 28 at the Greenmount Manor and Rivington Park sites, with the latter being on the historic Horwich Loco Works.

Visitors will have the chance to tour three- and four-bedroom homes and learn about purchasing options and schemes.

Rachel MacCutchan, sales director at Morris Homes, said: “As a community-led housebuilder, we’re really looking forward to engaging with the local community this weekend, allowing them to see first-hand how our developments are redefining the standard for new homes across Greater Manchester.

“Our mission is to connect families and individuals with their dream properties.

“Having our team on the ground, liaising with home seekers directly and helping them to understand the various ways we can support the buying process, is exactly how we can achieve this.

Greenmount Manor, located in Walmersley, offers modern homes in a scenic setting close to Burrs County Park, while Rivington Park in Bolton features a variety of home styles and is situated on a historic railway site once used to build more than 1,830 steam locomotives.

Both developments are designed to appeal to first-time buyers, families, and downsizers alike.

The open house events are free to attend.
